Who We Are
The mission of Auburn Youth and Family Services, Inc. is to support families through Empowerment and Community Collaboration.
Auburn Youth and Family Services was established in 1976 as the Auburn Project, a non-traditional means to meet the needs of Auburn’s youth. The focus of the Auburn project was the prevention of drug/alcohol abuse through education and intervention.
Over the years, the programs expanded. In 1991, the agency’s name was changed to Auburn Youth and Family Services to reflect this growth and expansion of services.
